Bixby Knolls is an affluent neighborhood of Long Beach, California.

Bixby Knolls is an affluent area of Long Beach nestled between the North Long Beach, California Heights on the south, Wrigley on the west, and the Long Beach airport on the east. In its 90807 Zip Code, smaller family homes sell for around $600,000 while the larger, higher end homes, a few of which are on gated streets, sell for as much as $4,000,000. To the west of Virginia Country Club is the Los Angeles River bicycle path and the Metro Blue Line.

The Bixby Knolls Shopping Center has a large concentration of retail, restaurants, and small businesses, especially along Atlantic Avenue. The neighborhood contains a large established orthodox Jewish population, a significant number of gays and lesbians, African-Americans, Latinos, among many other diverse groups. The Richard Goad Theater, home to the Long Beach Shakespeare Company, and the Historical Society of Long Beach is on Atlantic Boulevard, just north of Carson Street.

Long Beach Unified School District serves Bixby Knolls.
Two Bixby Knolls public schools are Longfellow Elementary School [1] and Hughes Middle School. Longfellow is recognized as a CA Distinguished School. For high school, residents are zoned to Long Beach Polytechnic High School.

The Bixby Knolls Park is in the area. Other parks include Cerritos Park in the Los Cerritos neighborhood and Somerset Park in the Bixby Terrace neighborhood.

Long Beach's Virginia Country Club golf course and Rancho Los Cerritos, a city owned historical site, are located in the adjacent Los Cerritos and Virginia Country Club neighborhoods, sometimes considered a part of Bixby Knolls.
