Bittman "Bimbo" Rivas

Bittman "Bimbo" Rivas was a Puerto Rican community activist, poet, actor, and playwright. He was born November 11, 1939 and died May 21, 1992. He gave the Lower East Side the name "Loisaida"[citation needed].
