BitGravity the first storage area network based CDN (Content Delivery Network). It uses a new technology for global distribution called BitCast (a mixture between a global file system and Anycast).
Winner of a Demo 08 award[1] for the launch of their CDN technology.

BitGravity is also the first CDN to provide ipv6 services, along with the first HD video system[4]. It also has gained notoriety in the Video Podcast industry as the primary distribution network for Revision3.
It is based in Burlingame, California, USA and was founded in February 2006 and launched publicly in October 2007.
The company's CEO is Perry Wu and its CTO is Barrett Lyon.
