[edit] Assistant bishop

http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/ViewArticle.aspx?SectionID=845&ArticleID=832244 does not mention "assistant bishop". Rich Farmbrough, 13:05 9 March 2007 (GMT).

It was mentioned in other press coverage at the time - Diocese of Peterborough website doesn't have a very good archive of press releases that I can find, haven't got round to checking Ely. I was living in one of the affected parishes at the time (although most of my church-related activity was over the river in Peterborough "proper"). Still my memory could be at fault. It was a good Anglican fudge to get round the fact that it's a pretty difficult process to change Diocesan boundaries due to the establishment of the CofE. David Underdown 13:45, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Found a ref on the Ely site added to the article. David Underdown 13:58, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
