[edit] Terminology

Does anyone know whey they chose the term biscuit? Is it because the wooden pieces look like cookies (i.e. biscuits in the UK)? Question by Dingfelder on 13 September 2006 moved from the article page.

[edit] Photos

The Lamello "Top" in the photos is at least 1970's vintage. It is still in it's original wooden box with all it's accessories. A very solid and well engineered tool. billbeee 19:17, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
