Bistagno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 km southeast of Turin and about 35 km southwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,805 and an area of 17.6 km².[1]

Bistagno borders the following municipalities: Castelletto d'Erro, Melazzo, Monastero Bormida, Montabone, Ponti, Rocchetta Palafea, Sessame, and Terzo.
