Kilmore is a historic diocese in central Ireland. It lay in the province of Ulster, and county of Cavan. It corresponded to the lordship or petty kingdom of Breffni.
Its bishops have included St. Feidhlimh or Felim, its founder.
Seventeenth century Anglican bishops included:
- William Bedell, the translator of the Bible into Irish;
- Francis Marsh ( -1682, translated to Dublin)
- Sheridan, who refused to take the Oath of Loyalty to William and Mary and defected to James II in France.
Later incumbents include:
- John Cradock ( -1772, translated to Dublin)
- William Foster (-1796, translated to Clogher)
- Arthur William Barton ( -1939, translated to Dublin)
