Bishop Watterson High School

Bishop Watterson High School is a, Catholic high school located in Columbus, Ohio. The school is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus.

Bishop Watterson, the first coeducational diocesan high school, opened its doors in the fall of 1954. Bishop Michael Ready mandated that the school be named for Bishop John Ambrose Watterson, who served as the second Bishop of Columbus from August 8, 1888 to April 17, 1899. Bishop Ready also invited the Dominican Sisters to help staff the school.
