Bishop John J. Snyder High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Jacksonville, Florida. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of St. Augustine.

Bishop Snyder was established in 2002 to serve the growing Catholic population in the west Jacksonville area. It is named after Bishop John J. Snyder, the retired 8th Bishop of the Diocese of St. Augustine. [1]
[edit] Championships
In 2006, the Bishop John J. Snyder High School Cardinals softball team won the 2A Florida State Championship. At this time, the school was only 4 years old.
[edit] Alumni
Two football players, Shawn Schmieder and Greg Shafe, have gone on to play in college. Schmieder is a redshirt freshman for the defending national champion Florida Gators. Shafe is a linebacker for the Division III Dana College in Nebraska.
