Bishop Glen Staples,(born June 16, 1953) is an American pastor & presiding prelate of The Temple of Praise Churches]] covering more than 14,000 members,^{[citation needed]} with 200 Churches^{[citation needed]} in India, Africa, Bahamas, Ohio, New York, and with 35 Churches in the Washington DC metropolitan area.^{[citation needed]}

Staples pastored Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church & First Missionary Baptist Church in Beckley, WV.

Staples answered the call in 1991 to pastor Anna Johenning Baptist Church currently known as The Temple of Praise
