Bishop is an unincorporated community located in McDowell County, West Virginia, USA. Bishop lies on the Virginia state line (across from Bishop, Virginia) at the intersection of
West Virginia Route 16 and West Virginia Route 161. Bishop is the southern-most community in the entire state of West Virginia.
