People aren't notable because of a single incident in their life, such as becoming an unfortunate and unjust victim of a heinous crime. Can this content possibly be merged into an appropriate article about the group that committed the crime, or about political events in Nepal? - Jehochman ^Talk 09:22, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

You may well be correct (although see Daniel Pearl for contrast). I will add a bit more (it seems to be covered somewhat in the international press), and hopefully the contributing author can clarify it. I'm not opposed to a move per se although I tend to think of this as a reasonably notable event. --TeaDrinker (talk) 09:28, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
