Biryuch

Biryuch (Russian: Бирюч) is a town in Belgorod Oblast, Russia. It is located on bank of Tikhaya Sosna River at . It's population: 8,100 (2005 Est.). Birych is an administrative center of Krasnogvardeysky District of Belgorod Oblast.
It was founded in 1705 and got city status in 2005. Settlement had such names as Budyonny after Semyon Budyonny and Krasnogvardeyskoe (The Red Guard) and had status of village, urban-type settlement and town.
There is a railway station in Biryuch.
