From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Birtavarre is a village in Kåfjord municipality, Norway.

Its population in 2003 was 231,[1] but since 2004 it has not been considered an urban settlement by Statistics Norway, and its data is therefore not registered.[2]. It was registered under the name Kåfjordbotn (Sami: Gaivuonbahta), which is the name of the surrounding district in the inner Kåfjorden inlet (Sami: Gaivuotna).
