Birstwith

Birstwith is a village and civil parish in the Harrogate district of North Yorkshire, England. It is part of the Nidderdale, and is situated on the River Nidd. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 756.
There is a large Mill/Rusk production plant in Birstwith run by the Food Manufacturing Company Kerry Ingredients.
The local pub is The Old Station Inn, run by Richard Caven. This pub plays a very central role in the village as a meeting place and as the source of many organised charity events such as the Birstwith Coast 2 Coast
