Birra Forst, Brauerei Forst, or simply Forst, is an Italian brewing company, founded in the frazione Forst (Foresta) of Algund (Lagundo) in 1857, in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. Forst was founded by two entrepreneurs in Merano. In 1863, the company passed to Josef Fuchs, who built the current factory in Forst, where it benefits from the fresh mountain water.
Forst has an annual production of 700,000 hl, serving primarily the domestic market. Besides producing beer in Forst, the company also maintains a factory in Palermo.
