Birkir Bjarnason (born May 27, 1988 in Akureyri) is an Icelandic professional footballer, who plays in Norwegian Tippeligaen, for Bodø/Glimt. He plays the position of midfielder and is 1.82 m tall.

Bjarnason joined Viking in summer 2005 from Figgjo. In season 2006 he scored his first goal for Viking against Hamarkameratene.
