Birkenhead was a former New Zealand Parliamentary electorate, from 1969 to 1996.

This suburban electorate is on the North Shore of Auckland.

The electorate was established in the 1969 election, and was abolished in the 1996 election, the first MMP election. It was absorbed into the Northcote electorate.
