Birhanu Bayeh
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Birhanu Beyhe (born 1938) was a politician in Ethiopia. He was foreign minister of Ethiopia during the era of the People's Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (1986 - 1989). When the government fell in 1991 he fled to the Italian embassy, where as of June 2005 he still remains in hiding.
Birhanu allegedly killed his former colleague Tesfaye Gebre Kidan, who briefly had served as acting president of Ethiopia, in 2004. Kidan was apparently killed in a fight by being hit with a broken bottle.[1]
