Birdy Airlines

Birdy Airlines was an airline based in Belgium. It operated services on routes from Brussels to East, Central and West Africa on behalf of Sabena successor airline, SN Brussels Airlines. All operations and fleet have been fully integrated into SN Brussels Airlines.

The airline was established in March 2002 and started operations on 26 April 2002, when SN Brussels Airlines also started codesharing with Birdy Airlines for its African destinations. Birdy Airlines operations ceased on 27 October 2004 and its operations were fully integrated into SN Brussels Airlines. It was started by the former executives at Citybird, Georges Gutelman and V. Hasson. Birdy served 12 destinations in Africa from Brussels.
