Bir al-Maksur or Beer el-Maksura (Arabic: بئر المكسور; Hebrew: בִּיר אל-מַכְּסוּר) is an Israeli-Arab local council in Israel's North District located 15km northwest of Nazareth. According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics the town had a population of 7,000 at the end of 2005.[1] The population is entirely made up of Bedouins.[2] Its mayor is Hassan Gadir.[3]
