[edit] Notability
Google search returns more than 15,000 hits. They are an active part of the debate about biofuels. I think Biofuelwatch is notable enough to have a small page on Wikipedia. Vincecate (talk) 00:13, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Vince, I would certainly like to think so too. But we need some third party sources to establish encyclopedic notability here. I'll have a quick look and see if I can find anything useful, but would be grateful from help from others too. Johnfos (talk) 00:19, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- Couldn't find any sources that I thought would help with notability, so I will need to put the tag back. Johnfos (talk) 21:57, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
That your quick look did not find anything you wanted to include does not mean it is not notable. What part of Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) do you think is missing? The Yahoo group has 1200 members and about 150 posts per month. This is an active group. Vincecate (talk) 01:49, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- We're not looking for Yahoo groups or blogs. As the notability tag says, "the best way to address this concern is to reference published, third-party sources about the subject". What about reports in the Times, or Reuters, or other mainstream media? So far, I've not found any. Johnfos (talk) 02:06, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
