--Alex 08:26, 17 July 2006 (UTC) This article should be moved to Biochemical engineering (note the capitalization change) in accordance with the WP policy on Naming conventions. I will make the move within in about 24 hours if there is no opposition. --Whosyourjudas (talk) 00:38, 5 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Don't hold your breath, Judas. I did it. Generally, I would not seek consensus for something that is clearly undisputed policy. I move many miscapitalised pages a week, and nobody ever discusses it with me :-) JFW | T@lk 00:53, 5 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- PS deletion of a redirect, in anticipation of a page move, requires admin action.

- Sounds good; just being overly cautious. But you don't need an admin; a move cannot be done "unless it is empty or a redirect" according to the "move" page. Lowercase-e was just a redirect. Whosyourjudas (talk) 02:44, 5 Oct 2004 (UTC)
We should have a separate article on Bioreactor. And many more concepts can be added to the Bioreactor design part. What we really do in Biorector design is not stressed upon. --Victor.P.Das 15:13, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
This was in the article itself, I guess someone didn't know how to use the talk page:
"Bioreactor info should have its own page. It shoulnd't be listed under this meager "biochemical engineering" page."
I wanted to link the page bioreactor to chemostat (and vice versa). I was a little surprised that bioreactor and this page were "merged". I'll link to this page instead. PER9000 06:48, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Article Title
I'm a little surprised this article is tiled "Biochemical Engineering", the content of the page deals only with Bioreactors. I assume the article on the main topic of biochemistry is under "Biochemistry", and unless a separate article is developed for biochemical engineering, then this should be a stub(?) of biochemistry.

Shouldn't there be a reference to "Downstream processing" - as far as I am concerned, a major part of the engineering and the costs are associated with the purification of the reactor harvest. Also, the process of taking care of the bulk product warrants an article "Fill and finish" or similar. Or is this covered somewhere else?!
