Biological response modifers, also known as BRM's, are substances that the human body produces naturally, as well as something that scientists can create in a lab. These substances arouse the body's response to an infection. Some of these are used to treat arthritis, cancer, and some other diseases.

Some effects of BRMs include : 1. Nausea and vomiting 2. Diarrhea 3. Loss of appetite 4. chills 5. fever 6. muscle aches 7. weakness 8. rash 9. individuals can bleed easily from minor scrapes 10. some individuals may have swelling with some BRMs
