[edit] Overview
Bingo Little is a longtime friend of Bertie Wooster, they were born in the same village a few days apart, and went together to preparatory school (under Rev. Upjohn), secondary school at Eton College, then to the University of Oxford, where, unlike most other members of the Drones Club, Bingo gained a degree.
Bingo Little has a tendency to fall in love with most young girls he comes across, but is apt to fall just as quickly out of love with them when he sees someone else. This is not out of spite, he's just a very indecisive young chap. Among his heart's desires have been:
- Mabel, a waitress
- Honoria Glossop, the formidable daughter of Sir Roderick Glossop
- Daphne Braythwayt, a friend of Honoria
- Charlotte Corday Rowbotham, a revolutionary
- Lady Cynthia Wickhammersley
- Mary Burgess, niece of the Rev. Frances Heppenstall
- Rosie M. Banks, whom he married
After much heart-ache and falling in love with girls he saw on the bus, Bingo settled down and married the romance novelist Rosie M. Banks. The union was then blessed with a son, Algernon Aubrey Little. Bingo continued to appear in short stories, both alongside and independently of Bertie Wooster, and usually involving some financial scrape.
