Binevenagh (Irish: Binn Fhoibhne, meaning Foibhne's peak) or Benevenagh, marks the western extent of the basalt plateaux of Northern Ireland. It towers over the town of Limavady and townland of Magilligan, and extends around the coastline to Downhill Strand beach, where Mussenden Temple can be found perched close to its rocky edge. It offers hang-gliding facilities as well as good views over Lough Foyle and County Donegal.
