I got here through http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Hebrew_words. "Bimkom" is Hebrew for "in place of". I've never heard of the group the article currently talks about, so, though it probably does exist, it's not well-known enough to be the article's default, the way The United Nations deserve to be the default for UN.
