[edit] Wikimedia Canada
Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 02:09, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Penguin Villa
Hi, Billybobmac. I notice you translate. If you have a spare moment, I am in need of some help translating a large block of Thai text at Talk:Penguin Villa. If you could help me with some of it I'd be very grateful. Thanks! Bhumiya/Talk 04:12, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Need help in discerning a Thai copyright tag
I am watching the English article Xiaolin Showdown, and this morning someone interwikied to the article on the Thai Wikipedia. I saw that the Thai page is using the same image in the infobox on the Thai Wikipedia as they are on the English Wikipedia, and the image is not shared on the commons. The image is th:ภาพ:T6mxiaolinshowdown-1-.jpg or Image:T6mxiaolinshowdown-1-.jpg. If you could, could you please help me discern the copyright status of the image, as I am unsure if the Fair-Use is used on the Thai Wikipedia, and I am unable to read the Thai copyright tag. [edit] Writing Thai
Hi,
I noticed your name in the list of Thai volunteer translators and I wondered whether you'd be ready to help out a bit with the creation of lessons teaching the Thai script on Wikibooks. I've started writing a lesson plan, following the guideline of a course I successfully wrote for the Greek alphabet, but I'm only just learning the Thai script myself and don't even know how to type it on the computer. Could you add a few suitable words to the table? There must be lots and lots, particularly considering that Thai has a transliterated name for all major cities and countries of the world, the difficulty is just finding them and making sure that they aren't too far from the English word, so that students can recognise what they're reading... right now a lot of students are too scared to learn Thai because of the foreign alphabet. Your help (and anybody else's who'd like to contribute) would be invaluable. Thank you!

[edit] Please help-Lao language request
Hello! The Wikipedia:Graphic Lab is working on artwork related to Laos, and we need some help to get the proper Lao language text into the artwork. As Thai and Lao are closely-related languages, I ask you to please visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Graphic_Lab/Images_to_improve#Scouting_in_Laos and see if you can help! Thanking you in advance, Chris 02:36, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
