[edit] Images

To make sure an image isn't deleted, you need to put licensing on it, to do this, on the upload screen drop down the licensing list until you find the correct licence. Hope this helps.----User:Rock2e Talk - Contribs 14:33, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, I've done it.

[edit] Paulvario.jpg listed for deletion

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Paulvario.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Ford MF 16:24, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Pursuant to your question above. Images need to have correct copyright tags. You tagged that image "public domain" when (as the public domain infobox on the article states) that usually means the photo was taken before 1923, which this wasn't. It might be PD if it's the work of the federal government (not entirely unreasonable in this case, but that's a separate copyright category from the one you selected), but I couldn't find the pic anywhere else to confirm or deny this. Couldn't find it anywhere else, period, in fact. And photographs of uncertain provenance are usually no good, unfortunately.
Pulling things off search engines and other wikis, like Findagrave.com, is generally not a good way to insure your image avoids deletion. Please take a few minutes to review Wikipedia:Image use policy. Ford MF 16:29, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sockpuppet

Josh, you have been blocked indefinitely as User:JBAK88, User:BOV1993, User:JBAK and User:Williamdevino. Let me make it 100% clear:

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia again!

You cannot simply start using a different user. That is called a sockpuppet and it is against Wikipedia policy to use one to avoid a block. It is also against policy to edit anonymously, so don't try that either.

Really? Billybatts70 15:14, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sockpuppetry case

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/JBAK for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page.

Zaian 16:30, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
You have been indefinitely blocked, because evidence at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/JBAK has shown that this account is a sockpuppet or meatpuppet of User:JBAK used to circumvent Wikipedia policies. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.
