Thanks for your add to the article (and especially the linked ref). Weapons ownership is something we kinda overlooked as the article first came together, but it is a completely solid point. If you could make head or tail of that,second,ramble on. thetalk page parents,about think isok, good on ya. It made no sense at all to me, and this was what I was commenting on. (Also, they wiped out the whole next section in posting, and I had to retrieve it.)

I refuse to support the notion of children or teens as "second-class citizens"; my experience is that the persons who make such arguments are typically underage themselves. They abruptly drop the whole stance once they hit eighteen or twenty-one, and by twenty-five they can't believe they ever even said such things. (The exceptions are usually in and out of jail or trouble throughout their adult lives... and if they'd been given their "rights" earlier, it would have just sent them down the wrong path that much sooner, IMHO.)
