There's no need for vandalism, folks...even if Packer is a fucktard. Please check out www.firstgiving.com/douglasawh (until March 20th 2007). The event benefits the kids at www.hoop-dreams.net! 04:05, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

This is really getting bad. I'm continuing to revert all the crap. Stusutcliffe 04:37, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

I've just semi-protected the page so that anonymous idiots can't vandalize it. Stusutcliffe 18:21, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

I would suggest revamping the "Distinguished Moments" section. As a color analyst, he is supposed to provide some account of the action outside of simple play by play. None of the examples are really distinguished for their insight or depth. While his account may be accurate, they are really self-evident observations, and not particularly astute. Maybe combining some of these with his awards and recognitions would make this stronger.

I added the missing source regarding Billy Packer's "fagging out" comments to Charlie Rose.208.107.168.154 21:52, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] More on distinguished moments

The distinguished moment section at the end needs to be checked out. They are interesting comments. But if we watch a game and hear an insight, should we put that on Wikipedia. That is essentially what is in the distinguished moment part. None of the material is disrespectful, so I do not see an need to remove it. But I question how useful this information is. Packer has had several notable achievements, which have been documented. I would suggest doing some research and using this instead. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nihcus (talk • contribs) 17:05, 29 March 2007 (UTC).
