Why hasn't this guy been getting the exposure he deserves? Anyone who has listened to his stuff has to be impressed. A great guitarist too!

He's not such a great guitarist anymore; his hand is kind of crippled.

I just saw Billy Joe play this weekend in Lewisville, Texas, and I noticed that he only has half of his index and middle fingers on his right hand. Anybody know the story about this? Billy's also done some movies too. He had a small supporting role in The Apostle with Robert Duvall and IMDB lists him as having been an extra in Secondhand Lions (also with Duvall).
