This is an entirely subjective essay about a movie character. I don't think the topic should exist per WP:FICT, Office Space would be the place to put a few lines about him, but he's obviously a fan favourite. However, that doesn't make this page of unreferenced opinions and observations encyclopedic or policy compliant. Deizio talk 02:11, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

What kind of references would you expect? I removed the numerous "^{[citation needed]}" tags from the article. The source of the statements is obvious: it's the subject movie, Office Space. What further information does one need? The act and scene number? The line number in the script? The chapter and time-offset of the scene? There is no Dilbert in Office Space. This is original stuff, not a derivative of a mostly unfunny comic strip.

[edit] Bill's Clothing

One of the links after the main article is to a site that mentions putting together a Bill Lumbergh "costume". Although I would never have imagined Bill would be a cosplay subject, it's not a bad idea. Obviously, one could spend a massive amount of money assembling a BL costume, which would be prohibitive for a Halloween project. That being said, it's worth noting that BL wears both suspenders and a belt. This is a big faux pas in terms of men's style, but BL is so priggish it's not surprising he wears both. Note also that his pants are gray flannel dress pants, worn without a break, and his shoes are burgundy tassel loafers (like Brooks Brothers sells).

[edit] Neutral language, or lack there of

This article seems to read like someone's book report or blog comment. I don't object to the article myself (I love the movie), but the non-neutral language needs a lot of improvement.

Example:

“

He seems to represent the impersonal and oppressive business practices that Peter despises so much.

”

Should sound like:

“

In the movie, Lumbergh represents the impersonal and oppressive business ....

”

And so on.
