Billy Yates (born in Doniphan, Missouri) is an American country singer-songwriter. Between 1997 and the present, Yates released six studio albums. His debut album produced his first chart single on the Hot Country Songs charts in the single "Flowers". Yates also co-wrote George Jones' 1994 single "I Don't Need Your Rockin' Chair".
