Billy Wright (musician)

Billy Wright (born May 21, 1932, Atlanta, Georgia; died October 27, 1991) was an American jump blues singer. He was known as "Prince of the Blues". Wright was a key figure in Atlanta blues after World War II and had an influence on rock and roll pioneer Little Richard, whom he helped get his first recording contract.[1]
