William Francis 'Billy' Tunnicliffe (born 5 January 1920 in Stoke-on-Trent, England; died 1997) was a professional footballer who played outside left at A.F.C. Bournemouth, Wrexham and Bradford City.
Tunnicliffe started at Port Vale before he moved to A.F.C. Bournemouth a year before the Second World War. He played 49 games at Bournemouth before he spent six seasons at Wrexham where he made 236 appearances scoring 74 goals. In 1953 he signed for Bradford City where he spent two-and-a-half seasons, scoring 20 goals in 89 league matches. He left for Stafford Rangers.
