[edit] College career

Pittman had his most productive season in 2005, where he combined with former Texas quarterback, Vince Young, for 34 passes for 750 yards, averaging 22.1 yards a catch and scoring 5 TD's.[citation needed]

Pittman was suspended for the first three games of the 2007 season for "infringement of amateurism rules". According to Pittman, he drove a friend's car for the duration of this summer, which classifies as an improper benefit.[2]

[edit] Pre-Draft workouts

Pittman ran a slow 40 time of 4.76 seconds at the NFL Combine. At Texas's Pro Day, he improved it slightly to that of 4.71 seconds and had a vertical leap of 32.5 inches, a very low number for a wide receiver.[citation needed]
