Billy Davis, Jr.

Billy Davis, Jr. (born June 26, 1940, St. Louis, Missouri) is best known as a member of The Fifth Dimension. Along with his wife, Marilyn McCoo, he had hits in 1976-1977 with "I Hope We Get to Love in Time", "Your Love", and "You Don't Have to Be a Star (To Be in My Show)". Davis and McCoo were married in 1969 and starred on a television program, The Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. Show, in 1977. In the same year "You Don't Have to Be a Star" won a Grammy Award.

In the 1990s, they did a concert tour called It Takes Two, that consisted of covers of old soul hits.
