Billy Beck (musician)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Billy Beck is a keyboardist, pianist, and songwriter for the Original and New Ohio Players, as well as Zapp and Roger.
A graduate of Youngstown State University's Dana School of Music, he was born on the South Side of Youngstown, Ohio.
He is supposedly the source of "The Scream" in the second verse of the band's hit "Love Rollercoaster," which has attained urban legend status on account of the various stories that circulate about who is actually screaming (a murdered woman is a popular explanation).[citation needed]
