[edit] History
In 2005, Pharrell Williams, one half of The Neptunes partnered with Japanese fashion icon Nigo, the founder of A Bathing Ape (BAPE). The two collaborated together to create and launch two new luxury streetwear brands: Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream. The brand suffered many setbacks after its original conception due to disputes between Pharrell Williams and Reebok. Reebok was originally set to release the clothing line alongside the Ice Cream sneaker line. Although the sneakers made it, the clothing line was postponed and all projects came to an end in late 2004/early 2005. It was at the very end of 2005 when the brand was finally launched as a sister company to A Bathing Ape[1].
[edit] Ice Cream
Ice Creams are a line of shoes created by Billionaire Boys Club and Reebok. They come in many different styles and colors. The footwear that is available from BBC/Ice Cream are Board Flip I, Board Flip II and Boutique (which were the first line produced and were made in limited numbers), all produced by Reebok, canvas Waffle shoes, which come in a variety of flavors including regular, blueberry, strawberry and banana, and the Billionaire Boys Club Deck & Boat Shoes, which are currently available in leather or diamond & dollar canvas print. The Board Flips come in a variety of flavors like Pink Lemondade, Raspberry Lemonade, Watermelon and Raspberry Sorbet. They usually range around $60.00 USD in the US. The original Ice Cream sneakers, the Boutique edition, were produced in limited numbers and cost around $200. Flavors included Pager, Diamond & Dollar, Money Rolls, Mini D&D, and the never released Boombox for men and Lipstick, Teddy Bear and Name Chain for women. They were very rare; only 3000-5000 (depending on the exact model) authenic pairs were made. These sneakers, if in good condition, can sometimes be seen on sites such as Ebay, being sold for up to $500.

Billionaire Boys Club has flagship stores in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong
[edit] Team Ice Cream
Aside from the clothing line, Pharrell has also created his own skateboard team to gain street credibility. The team is called “Team Ice Cream”; they have created several videos and are currently working with Tony Hawk in hopes of joining the X Games tour. Pharrell feels that being associated with the X Games will allow for his team to be noticed and help with the promotion of his clothing line. Some members of the team are Terry Kennedy, Jacob Walder, and Evan Hernandez.
