Billinudgel, New South Wales

Billinudgel is a town in northeastern New South Wales, Australia in Byron Shire. It is on the Pacific Highway, close to Byron Bay and the Queensland border. Billinudgel is bordered by a larger town called Ocean Shores. There a few small towns and villages located near Billinudgel called Brunswick Heads, Mullumbimby,The Pocket and North Ocean Shores. The main attraction of billinudgel is the Billinudgel Hotel "100 Years of great beers". The Hotel hosts a superb dining experience with fine food being served at a reasonable price.
The name Billinudgel is derived from Bundjalung Bilihnadhihl, meaning "once belonged to a parrot".[1]
