[edit] The Grimoire of Exalted Deeds

The Grimoire of Exalted Deeds is a metal "fanzine" edited by Bill Zebub. Each issue consists of interviews with metal bands, CD reviews and DVD reviews. The interviews are generally comedic with a sarcastic nature. The magazine contains non-pornographic nudity, and is available in an all-glossy format which is for sale on newsstands, a newsprint tabloid version which is free where available, and on the website www.thegrimoire.com as a PDF. Articles are also archived on the site and can be enjoyed for free. [see links section].

[edit] Professor Dum Dum's Lab

Bill Zebub had a weekly radio show on 91.1 FM WFMU. Bill Zebub plays the character Professor Dum Dum: Scientist of Music and Human Nature who hails from Germany. The Professor plays heavy metal music and discusses topics with callers. The show aired every Thursday night from 7PM-8PM EST. The show can also be streamed live or from archives on the WFMU website {see link below in links section}. On March 15, 2007, during the annual WFMU fundraising marathon, Dum Dum announced on the air that that day's show would be his last for the station. He didn't immediately explain why, but later hinted that he was leaving to do a show at a commercial station. Shows aired the following two weeks featured pleasant, tranquil music, and none of his trademark faux German on air rants. On April 4, 2007, he returned to give a typically over-the-top performance, but said nothing to explain his apparent absence. Rumor has it that the program director does not like the program or the person.
