Bill Schneider (born October 8, 1944) is an American journalist. Currently he serves as CNN's senior political analyst.
Schneider joined CNN in 1991 and is regularly featured during CNN's election coverage. He was once a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C., and has contributed to the Los Angeles Times, National Journal and The Atlantic Monthly.

Schneider has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University in Massachusetts and a doctorate in political science from Harvard University, where he later taught in the Department of Government.
