Bill Root (born September 6, 1959 in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 247 games in the National Hockey League. He would with the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, St. Louis Blues, and Philadelphia Flyers.
