Bill Robertie

Bill Robertie is a backgammon, chess, and poker player and author. He is one of three backgammon players to have won the Monte Carlo World Backgammon Championship twice (in 1983 and in 1987). Robertie also won the Pro-Am in the Bahamas in the year 1993 and the Istanbul World Cup in 1994. In chess, Robertie won the U.S. Speed Chess tournament.[1]
Robertie co-authored a popular series of books on tournament no-limit Texas hold'em with 1995 World Champion Dan Harrington. The books were published by Two Plus Two Publishing.
Robertie graduated from Harvard and is a systems analyst.
