William Henry 'Bill' O'Callaghan (c.1869-1946) was an Irish sportsperson in the 1880s and 1890s who played hurling with the Redmond's team that represent Cork in the 1890s.
Born in Cork circa 1869, O'Callaghan first tasted success in 1892 when he captained Redmond's to a senior county championship final victory over Blackrock. This victory allowed Redmond's to go on and represent Cork in the inter-county championship. O'Callaghan later guided his club to a Munster victory over Kerry. He later captained his native-county to an All-Ireland final victory over Dublin. However, this game was abandoned after 50 minutes as Dublin walked off the pitch.
O'Callaghan married Catherine Murphy with whom he had three daughters, and later emigrated to England where he worked in Dorset as as Post Office Engineer. He died on the January 16, 1946 in Dorset.
