Bill Mallonee

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bill Mallonee (b. January 1, 1955[citation needed], in Martinsville, Virginia[1]) was formerly the source of lyrics and leadership behind the Vigilantes of Love, an Americana/Alt-Country/Rock band from Athens, Georgia. Though the Vigilantes disbanded in 2001, Bill continues on writing, singing and playing his music solo. On his Summer 2007 tour, he was joined on stage by his second wife, Muriah Rose, who plays keyboards and sings. Also in Summer 2007, Bill announced onstage that he has begun working with a new band called "Victory Garden," information confirmed on his website in the tour section. Throughout his career many of his songs focused on his Christian faith and his family. He holds a degree in history from the University of Georgia.[1]
