Bill Kelliher is a guitarist in the Atlanta heavy metal band Mastodon. He shares guitar duties with Brent Hinds, playing mainly rhythm parts.

Bill's uses 3 guitars in Mastodon: A Gibson Les Paul Custom in a Silverburst finish, a Gibson Explorer in black, and a custom Yamaha SGB. Bill used Laney amplification at one time (specifically, the VH100R head), but now plays a Marshall JCM 800 single channel reissue. His pedal board includes an Ibanez Tube King, a Boss TU-2 Tuner, an MXR M-135 Smart Noise Gate, and a Digitech Jamman Looper Pedal. Like Brent, Bill also utilizes three tunings in Mastodon: D Standard (E Standard down one whole step, D G C F A D), Drop C (Drop D down one whole step, C G C F A D), and another tuning similar to Drop C, but with the low E tuned down to A (A G C F A D).

On June 12th 2007 Brent and Bill won the Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best shredders[1], Mastodon's first ever award.

Despite being pegged by most fans as the 'stylish' member of Mastodon, with a penchant for 50's-inspired dress and hair, he was singled out at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards for looking like "Joe Dirt, with [his] little rat-tail thing."
