William M. Hollenback was the head football coach at Penn State in 1909 and from 1911 to 1914. During his tenure, he compiled a 28-9-4(.732) record.

He is the older brother of Jack Hollenback who was also a head football coach at Penn State. He also served as the head football coach at Missouri in 1910 and at Syracuse in 1916.
