Bill Faison is a Democratic Party member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's 50th House district since 2005. Hid district includes constituents in Caswell and Orange Counties.
Rumors circulated around Faison as a potential candidate for Governor in 2008. However, with the emergence of both State Treasurer Richard Moore and Lt. Governor Beverly Purdue as strong candidates, most of those rumors have stopped.
Faison made a name for himself as a personal injury lawyer, building one of the largest firms in the state -- Faison & Gillespie, located in Durham, North Carolina.
